Cleveland Clinic Foundation Research Institute
Cleveland Clinic, located in Cleveland, Ohio, is a not-for-profit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Cleveland Clinic was founded in 1921 by four renowned physicians with a vision of providing outstanding patient care based upon the principles of cooperation, compassion and innovation. U.S. News & World Report consistently names Cleveland Clinic as one of the nation's best hospitals in its annual "America's Best Hospitals" survey. In 2005, there were 2.9 million outpatient visits to Cleveland Clinic. Patients came for treatment from every state and from more than 80 countries.

NUS is Singapore's oldest and largest university. The main campus is located in a 150 hectare area in the southwest region. The National University Hospital is adjacent to the medical faculty of the National University of Singapore at Kent Ridge. Besides being a teaching hospital for the university, it also acts as a research center. The medical institution's Cancer Institute brings together the cancer expertise within the hospital to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients with all types of cancers, including solid tumors and blood-related diseases.

University of New Mexico Cancer Research And Treatment Center
The University of New Mexico Cancer Research & Treatment Center has been named a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer research and treatment center. This means the UNM CRTC has joined the ranks of the 40 most pre-eminent cancer research and treatment centers in the United States. This center, the state of New Mexico's official cancer center, works to reduce the incidence of cancer in New Mexico, decrease cancer mortality and contribute to the world's understanding of cancer. With a staff of over 300 including more than 150 physicians and research scientists, the UNM CRTC maintains a vigorous clinical research program, participates in clinical trials and compiles and tracks data on all cancer cases affecting the state's diverse population.

Wayne State University
The Wayne State University School of Medicine is the largest single-campus medical school in the United States with more than 1,000 medical students. In addition to undergraduate medical education, the school offers master's degree, Ph.D. and M.D-PhD programs in 14 areas of basic sciences to about 400 students annually. The school ranks 22nd in total research expenditures in health sciences according to the National Science Foundation. Its faculty is dedicated to the provision of the most advanced medical care, delivered by the nearly 700 members of the Wayne State University Physician Group. Although the school's faculty offer expertise in virtually all medical fields, the institution's areas of research emphasis include cancer, women's and children's health, neuroscience and population studies.
